I am passionate about solving problems that bring value to humankind. Having led teams in industry and taught in academic settings for over 4 years, I've learned an array of skills from leadership, medical device development, consumer device development, and curriculum development of hands-on educational training. I am a former D1 student-athlete, teammate, and a quick learner. I am ready to work in the industry and find ways to make a positive impact on the world.

Featured in the article - Konstantin Mitic, a senior and founder of George Hacks, said one of the main missions of the team is to create an interdisciplinary event that will be open to all undergraduate students, not just engineering majors.
“We believe that innovation is not specific to your major, it’s just specific to who you are,” he said.
The team also wants to help students gain real-world experience and apply what they have learned in the classroom to real issues.

Featured in the article - Currently, the screening process happens at an arms-length distance and consists of hospital staff asking incoming staff, the only group with general access to the hospital, which has restricted visits, questions related to recent travel, COVID-19 exposure and symptoms before taking their temperature with a hand-held thermometer.
Hoping to automate the process, the group is developing a kiosk that will measure temperature and signage that will help staff entering the hospital self-direct themselves based on their answers to screening questions.

Featured in the article - Mr. Mitic, a graduate student pursing a Master of Science in biomedical engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Science, is launching “COVID Mali,” which is an organization of engineers and other professionals based in the United States and Mali who plan to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to 5,000 Malian health workers by utilizing 3D printing capabilities.

Featured in the article - To assist communities in Mali during the pandemic, George Hacks Founder Konstantin Mitic launched COVID Mali. Consisting of “a consortium of skilled professionals in and outside of Bamako working to prevent and slow the transmission of the novel Coronavirus in Mali,” the startup strives to produce and distribute effective PPE to healthcare workers and people of Mali who are vulnerable to the disease.
