FOUNDING OF GEORGE HACKS
Catalyzing innovation in healthcare to empower the next generation of change makers.
George Hacks was an inspiration from a previous experience attending a medical hackathon and experiencing the rush and excitement of building something and proving to oneself that we indeed can make a change in this world. Two months later we fund-raised $20,000 dollar from the school and industry and started a journey that just keeps getting better. This project kicked off my innovative social impact mindset and taught me how to be a leader.`

Revolutionizing patient transfer systems
Started the capstone project in 2017 and completed in the spring of 2018. Developed a patient transfer system that was able to lift the patient up from supine to seated position and then lift up to an upright position providing walking assist. Won the prestigious Pelton award for the most outstanding capstone design project:Â
Developed a locking system using CAD software, simulations 3D printing and machining. Learned how to sew, and project manage using scrum management.
